What about the real world results?

For demmonstration of VideoMatching library features the following video sets were prepared: reference video and a subset of video-shots cutted from the reference video and degradated using various brightness, colour, framerate and size changes.

Test results:

• the query video without degradation - FOUND with match level of 99%
• brightness, saturation, exposition and contrast changed in the query video - FOUND with match level of 96%
• color transformation and smooting applied on the query video - FOUND with match level of 99%
• additional noise and disturbance added to the query video - FOUND with match level of 98%
• frame rate of the query video reduced from 25 to 8 fps - FOUND with match level of 99%
• the query video size decreased to 160x120 - FOUND with match level of 98%
• all previous degradation merged together - FOUND with match level of 98%

The highest value of the best wrong candidate for all results was below 58% match level.
